Why didn't the panthers go after Marshall ?

So the Miami dolphins just acquired Brandon Marshall who was originally tendered at a first round level but was traded for two second round picks(one this year and the other the next).Witch brings me back to my question why didn't the panthers go after Brandon Marshall ?With must speculation the the panthers will use the 48th pick to select a wide reviver in next weeks draft why wouldn't they just trade the 48th and next years second just like the dolphins did. This would have been a huge upgrade and would have give the panthers a proven playmaker and allowed them to focus on there defensive needs the rest of the draft.Tell me what you think.

  2. The Panthers history says they will trade that #48 and next years 1st round pick to move up for a targeted WR. The problem is that the only guy worth that kind of move is Dez Bryant, and the Panthers will not draft a guy with that much character questions.
